Glad you got it together. No small job.
I woke up sick this morning. Son limped home from work in Lansing Saturday morning. Decided his catalytic converter was plugged. Got on the phone, ordered one up. $450 for the right one - $169 for the one size fits all. Arrived at about 1:30pm. Worked on it all afternoon in unheated garage - crawling underneath. Didn"t fit worth a darn. Two trips back to parts place for adapters, more clamps. Up over $200 now. Sawsall paid for itself again. Had to cut and fit about every part. At least we got a nice looking install. Initial road test says it was the problem. Watching him on the computer right now as he heads back to Lansing - he has a tracking device that allows me almost real time tracking on a map. (google amateur radio APRS). He"s getting highway speeds.
I came in showered till I used all the hot water, still cold. Had supper, did chores, crawled into heated bed. Finally warm, while watching the news. Still feel like cra__. If I don"t feel a whole lot better in the morning, I ain"t going to volunteer for substitute teaching.
He"s running 73mph on the freeway right now. Think we got it solved. Funny how that problem came on all of a sudden.

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
