Good friends are a blessing. Had a moment like that with my nearest neighbor who is a good friend. Heard him cutting up a large oak that had fallen during a thunderstorm (you know that was a few years ago, almost forgotten what a thunderstorm is now) with a chainsaw he had just bought. Cut for about 15 min, silence for 5 min, then sound of the saw starting then dying. Heard that sound about 4 times so I went over to investigate. He told me the saw starts good but when I hit the throttle it dies. I could see the kickback lever was tripped. Told him I could solve the problem in 2 seconds. He said no way. I reset the lever, told him to try it & of course it ran like a champ. His previous saw was so old it didn't have the kickback lever on it. We had a good laugh over that. I won't go into the ones he has on me though.
