In your case he should have called you up and told you there was a guy that was there that wanted them. Do you still want them? I've been selling some hay, and some of it was some rained on stuff from 2010, it's some of the crappiest hay I've ever seen. I listed it on Kijiji, described it as very low quality. Guy called saying he desperately needed it. We set a time for him to pick it up. Never showed, couldn't get ahold of him. It's sold now, to a guy that actually kept his word. I'm not saying that you weren't going to keep your word, I'm sure you were, but if the guy has sold some hay before, he may have assumed that you weren't going to keep your word, based on the fact that you didn't keep in contact. It may have just been a miscommunication/he misunderstood the deal.
