I used to sell a lot on ebay. Not so much any more. Yes, I think the fee for listing should be free. But watch them. There will be a box checked for supersize pictures or extra pictures that will charge you by default even if you don't use it. They have all kinds of little tricks to get your money. As of a couple years ago they will charge you a final value fee on the item PLUS the shipping fees. So if you have inexpensive heavy items you can end up paying double or more on fees. What I did on some cast weights I sold last year was to list them as pick up only and then I negotiated the shipping with the buyer privately. If you have rare and desirable parts ebay is still a pretty good outlet. Make good use of your title space. Use words that someone looking for your part would use.
