I've got a small chip out of one of my front teeth from a similar accident. I was lying in the cab of a rubber tired loader working under the dash when the ratchet slipped and the handle hit my tooth. I was in serious pain for a few minutes and Dad and the customer were giving me he!! about being such a baby...until they saw the chip, then they felt bad. Never had any problems out of it other than a slightly rough spot that bugged the crap out of me til it smoothed itself out naturally after awhile. In the end as unlucky at something like this happening is, it's nice to be lucky enough that the end result isn't as serious as the initial pain.
