I think I would put new hydraulic oil in the tractor, but retain the old oil in a closed 5 gallon bucket. After a few months, I bet the old oil will look just fine, when the air is out and whatever else in the oil has settled to the bottom.
I always save used hydraulic oil and reuse most of it. The problem my hydraulic oil usually has had is moisture, and I bet your oil has some in it too. My experience is that after about 6 months of sitting still in a 5 gallon bucket, almost all of the moisture drops out of suspension in the oil and goes to the bottom of the bucket. With a little care, it is possible to get most of the now clear oil out of the bucket for re-use by pouring it into another clean container. The little bit of remaining oil and the water and dirt in the bucket get dumped on my gravel driveway.
I don"t say that the reclaimed hydraulic oil is perfect--the additives might be depleted by the water exposure, and there still might be a little bit of water in the oil. But the reclaimed oil is good enough for ME! Over the years, I have probably saved hundreds of dollars that way, reusing hydraulic oil. Good luck!
