Brush Hogging

Has anyone ever added a set of front wheels to a brush hog so it rolls over the ground sort of like a finish mower? I have a small 4' Sunbeam brush hog that I keep some rough areas mowed. The ground is uneven and too rough for mowing with a garden tractor and occasionally small rocks or low stumps are hit. I like the toughness of the "break away" blades on the brush hog but if I set it low enough to cut short, I always gouge the ground and have to constantly adjust the height of the mower. I have tried to "angle" the mower so it rides higher in the front and runs on the rear wheel but going over a high spot causes the mower to lift and I end up missing the cut. I would like to let the mower run with the ground using the rear wheel and maybe two front wheels sort of like a mowing deck on a lawn mower. Any experience would be appreciated. Thanks.
