I would not say the hesston is the poorest by any stretch. I own a Hesston 4590, and have run NH 575 and JD 348 balers, and will most likely be buying a second Hesston when that time comes. Many folks don`t like them because they are different than what has been around for 50+ years, but at the sime time I have heard folks run down the centerline design, and then brag on there big square baler from whatever brand (all centerline). I do not think it is better than a NH575, just different. The NH is wider, heavier, and takes more HP for the same amount of hay baled, and I have had no more problems than with the other two. I think the Hesston would be a decent choice in stationary application, but something seems funky here anyway. 240 bales per hour should not be a problem for any of these balers.
