Dad and I made the trip from London Ky to Chilicothe OH to look at the volvo I was asking about. The seller is either a liar, mentally retarded, or a combination of both. The truck DID have a sliding 5th wheel(he told me over the phone it didnt), the exhaust manifold wasn't cracked(flex pipe was rusted right after the manifold). All this was good news until I climbed up into the cab. 400k my rump! It had rolled over! I saw it as soon as I got in the seat. We drove 4 hrs to get there and had another 4 to get back so i figured i might as well drive it. The drive confirmed what the odometer said if you know what i mean. I offered him 4500(asking 5) and he wouldn't budge, and I'm glad he didnt now that ive had more time to think about it. It would probably be a good truck for what i need, but lying about the miles kinda turned me on it. I knew a low mile, low $ truck was probably a pipe dream, but you never know till you look. Any way just wanted to let you know how it went, and thank you again for your time, and advice. By the way JD, sorry for you, and your brothers loss. Prayers sent for you, and yours.
