Had an estimate for a home done in Dec. I went to the lumber yard Friday to get an update on it as it took till now to get the paper work all done. A $4000 increase on a $60,000 package. 7/16 OSB went to over $18. I paid $6 last spring. Menards has it for $14.67 with an 11% rebate so I think I will pick up 100 sheets there to save a little. The guy from the lumber yard said it was the dimensional lumber that moved the most but it is starting to creep into the other items. Plywood was staying stable and moves up and down almost daily but he called it steady. He showed me a chart that was pointing up at a steep curve on the dimensional stuff.
