It was 22 degrees here this morning at 6 AM. That put a pretty good layer of frozen ground on top. I called the guy that delivers the landscape chips yesterday and told him to be here at day light. HE was early. GOOD MAN. By day light I had the first load spread. I was able to use the skid steer. I windrowed the chips and the boys spread them out nice and even by hand. At 7:30 the job was done. Took two loads but it looks nice. It will be frozen in the morning but by the service time it will be smeary on top.
Visitation will be tonight and funeral tomorrow.
