We love it, started in 55 gal drum, and have acquired a 250 tote like you speak of but have yet to try. We hope to use the 250 gal for parts that just wont fit in the 55.
Especially nice on sheet metal, very smooth. Also dose wonders on caked on grease/oil.
We even placed the block of a IHC Super C in it when we replaced the sleeves, rings, pistons. We had the crank off. Liked the results.
My opinion is it doesn't work on cast as nicely as it dose on sheet, but on certain parts it is less tedious than the other methods. But if your not disassembling the tractor anyways, it is extra work, but boy is it nice to set it up, turn the charger on, and walk off to something else, and come back to it in a few hours and have bare metal.
