My son called me this morning and asked if I could come to one of his corn fields. I said I was busy about 20 miles away but I wanted to know what was wrong. He said he wanted me to hear something in his cornfield. Every time he took a step it sounded like it was raining. He took a shovel and dug up a bunch of old fashioned earth worms. Said every shovel full had enough to go fishing with. I told him that when I was a kid and raised worms to sell for fish bait, you could hear them when you threw corn meal on the beds to feed them. I also said worms are good for the soil as they help aerate it. All this rain has probably helped the worms also. Richard in NW SC

Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
