As to the 1206 IH , I worked fall plowing for a farmer in 1970 and he had an 806 and the 1206 and I plowed with both. Some say the 1206 was just a turbocharged 806. Well maybe they shared engines but that's where it must have stopped. That 1206 was half again the tractor the 806 was both in power and smoothness and ride and handling. As to favorites, I like the big 2 wd,s from the '60,s/'70,s in order 6030 JD , 1170 / 1570 Case and 2255 Ollie.
