We got about 1.5 inches of hail on Sunday afternoon in about 2 hours. It was too warm for it to stick around very long, but it sure looked like Winter again for a few hours. All white outside and no hailstones larger than about a quarter inch, so probably no damage to anything.
The moisture is appreciated. I would guess we got between a quarter and a half of inch. According to the Weather Service, our area is about an inch below average for the year so far.
The hail sure messed up my outdoor plans for the afternoon, but that is how it is here in April.
