Again, based on 20 years plus in law enforcement, I've seen alarms and then there are ALARMS. ADT was always big in this area- and absolutely worthless. I've seen numerous ADT systems fail to activate or to activate constantly over nothing. The only decent systems I dealt with were true commercial level systems at places like like the Post Office or at some upscale businesses.
Alarm systems are great if you can afford a good one.
