They tried, it does take money to keep and utilize such a building, it just makes me sick to think that our government wastes so much money, yet a church, a symbol of all thats good and a place worship for all folks, one to marvel at and to just be in awe of everytime you open that door, has to be taken down, the money that is wasted, taxpayer money, a fraction of what they misuse could have keep this place going for years. I never thought in a million years they would take this church down, they just took down the most prolific building in that city and one that could be seen so prominently from across the river, people were all against it, fought the developer, the deeper pockets always win.
I seriously have to start avoiding the news, its just never any good, starting to spill over in my content here, don't want to hijack RB's thread, though there is a Kobelco in it LOL !
