Spring has finally sprung, here in Central NY. The wifey and I took a ride around the upper 40 in the old Cheby wood getter, this evening just before sundown. As of tonight the uncles have about 85A of oats and alfalfa seeding down, since Friday. Tonights pics. taken from a high point on the homefarm, about 1480' above sea level. Temps. have been in the mid 40s with nasty chilling winds, which dryed the ground out enough to plant. I spent the day chaseing parts at my friends CNH dealership and then on to the local tractor graveyard. to find a 13.9x36 Titan tire for our Case 511B. A new one with tube about $800and change. Found one about 90% on a JD 2510 at the salvage yard and negociated a deal for $250. They pull it drain the calcium, they load it to my PU and we return a rim. Loren, the Acg. I took about 50 pics while touring the 15A of dead and dying tractors. Will post them in seperate posts on this forum and the Case forum, tomarrow night. Loren, the Acg.
