I bought a Moline 4 Star from an ole boy in your neck of the woods, Old- Cole Camp, out of Sedalia, MO. I had a hauler on a "space available" basis, and seller wasn't in any hurry. The road into his place was so steep and narrow that he was afrain a semi wouldn't make it, so he agreed to get it to Sedalia when I was ready for it.
6 months later my hauler said he'd be in Sedalia in 2 days. Called my seller, no problem, it'll be there at the appointed time. A few days later the hauler dropped it off at the local livestock auction for me. He said the guy had had to jump start the tractor, and hauler told him it had to be able to start of its own accord so he could load and unload it as he dropped other tractors off. So the guy takes the bad battery out of the Moline, starts his pickup and exchanges it with the almost new battery in his pickup! Kind of above and beyond the call of duty, IMHO!
Sure enough, I get a letter a few days later, asking if I could possibly reimburse him for the battery. You bet I did, immediately, and added a few bucks for his trouble. You don't find guys like that very often.

In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
