The wifey and I took a ride up in the upper 40 of Clinton Camp Farm tonight. The uncles have got 185A of oats planted as of tonight. About 120A as cover crop with Alfalfa. Weather has finally cooperated. Supposed to be in the mid 70s the rest of the week. We also planted a lot of our garden today, but that will be another post. The spring woods flowers are at their peak, Myrtle,Lady slippers, Red stink pots (trilliums), May flowers, and leeks, and black berry bushes are coming on.
Today was a memorable spring day, even though it was a little late. Planning on getting back in the woods and cutting/splitting the log piles that I had drug out last winter, next week. Sorry to see the pics., from some posters who had SNOW today. that really sucks!! Loren, the Acg.
