I like strong black coffee, but my blood pressure doesn"t handle the caffeine very well, so I have to settle for decaf. It usually isn"t TOO bad as long as the pot is freshly made.
The young waitress at my normal Saturday breakfast meeting place finally just had to ask. "Do you drink this because you like the taste??" I replied, "No, I drink it because every time I get caffeine, I start hearing the voices again and my doctors say I might try to stab somebody again!"
After that, I noticed she ALWAYS makes sure there is a fresh pot of decaf brewing just for me! It sure is nice to be appreciated.
