Atlanta? No way. Atlanta is 52% black, and blacks are not rednecks. Whites, who could be rednecks, are 38% of the population. And many of the whites are educated and don"t meet redneck criteria. Now go to South Georgia or North Florida, and you"d be hard pressed to find someone who isn"t a redneck.
I grew up in lower Michigan and most of my cuzzins who still live there are northern rednecks, and they"re into beer, smoking, fishing/hunting, and NASCAR. They just don"t have a southern accent. But some of them have coon dowgs.
