If you are going to install it in different machines/brands I would look at Ag Leader. They have cheaper mounting kits and such for each model/brand. JD makes the kits but they are SKY high in price.
If you ever think you will want to save the data you are generating look at the programs each system uses for record keeping. So systems work great in the tractor but are a PIA to keep the records with in your computer.
