Fritz Maurer said: (quoted from post at 20:16:08 05/07/13) I'm trying to sell a 3020 for an old retired gentleman. Had a dozen people look at it, seems nobody wants gas power, no power shift, center console. Got a guy now who wants it pretty bad, but wants to trade a Caterpillar QC25 forklift for it (4000 Lb. capacity). I'm asking 3900.00 for the tractor, thinking about dropping it to 3500.00. Can I get this much for the forklift? Would it be any easier to move than this 3020? Or just decline the offer? Thanks, Fritz
IF I were in the market for a 3020, I would WANT a gasoline engine. It is a MUCH better choice for light duty work such as blading snow, mowing a few weeds, etc. The gas engine will start in cold weather much easier than a diesel, and you can do pretty much all the maintenance work yourself.
Oh, just to stay on topic, I wouldn't even consider taking a forklift of any kind in on trade unless you personally had a use for it.
