If that tree is hollow, it is likely to fall in whatever direction it wants to, irregardless of where you make the wedge cut. If the tree is out in the open, be prepared to run fast when it starts falling. If the tree is close to a building, it might be wise to call in the professionals.
You may not know if it is hollow until you start cutting.
