I never worry about fuel mileage. I put in 5 gallons or so, and run it until the needle seems like it don't want to move, then put more in it. Feller at gas station wanted to put more in than i wanted. I told him ok, except he'd pay for the excess. That cooled his ferver! The emission fittings, under rear quarter panel leaks, new parts cost almost $300! Some wag asked why i don't buy a new car. I told him-this one starts, runs and drives, and stops when i want it to! A new car won't do much more than that, except flatten my savings account!
