The wife has a sister that flies down here, from Ancorage the last 2 yrs, and the girls drive the wife's car down to the bay area, to visit,an ailing sister. Every year I am told that melinda, may not make it another year, so it's imperitive to go see her. Anyway I have been told to be frugal on my farm purchases, cause they will be going down to Ca. next week, and gas and lodging is not cheap! Saturday morning, I went to TSC to buy sweet corn seed, and nitrogen. After loading up, I spotted this big round blue plastic stock tank, and visions of that tank filled with grandkids, and water, got into my head. I grabbed the tape measure I keep in the seat, and measured the bed width on my truck, then went over and measured the tank bottom, and they were made for each other. I went back in and paid for it, loaded it up and went home. Was going to slip it by the wife, but she saw it in the bed coming in the drive. When confronted I mumbled that it was for the grandkids, and darned if she settled right down, and decided it was a good thing to have. Go figgure!
