Organized girl"s football up North? I have seen a few girls on high school boys football teams, but in every case the girl was there as a kicker/punter.
My youngest daughter is a very talented all-around athlete, and I watched her play football with her brothers around home. I think she would have been a very effective receiver if she had gone out for football on a real team. But she was about the best distance runner around here, and Cross Country and football seasons were at the same time. Her cross country and track successes led to an athletic scholarship that paid her way through college, so I guess she made the right choice.
And I guess I would worry about my little girl getting hurt playing football, especially playing against the BIG boys. Football is rough. I still cannot turn my head very far either way because of high school football injuries.
Fine looking girls! They grow up so fast...good luck!
