My day job is in law enforcement and we use computers and printers in our patrol cars 24-7. We have used about every brand you can think of and always had a problem with printers. We changed to a thermal printer. this is similar to what your grocery store receipt is. They are a little pricey but are compact and are really doing a great job. We purchased the Brother brand PocketJet 6 mobile printer. Being a Govt. agency we had to get quotes and found the best prices from bh photovideo. If you would like to look at their website just add dot com to the name. I am not in any way connected to these folks nor trying to generate sales for them. Just my 2 cents worth. The reason I know is because I was the procurement officer for these things. Good luck those darn things can be a large pain in the rear.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
