Hate to say NASCAR is not much better. They have killed any personality in the race with all the "equal" rules. Cars are slower and the race is boring as heck. They just drive in a circle until the last 20-30 laps and then race. So why not just have 30 lap races???
I would like to see a new race league. The rules would be a standard fuel,four wheels, and limit the weight. You could be as light as you want and as much HP as you could get. They are racing check books any way so lets see what they really could do. Maybe we would see some "new" ideas. Not the same old boring same old same old.[/quote]

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
