Any of you guys had any experience operating ccs type corn planters? I have been operating a Bauer Built for several years now and have came against a problem. We have some corn seed that"s very large and round has 1260 seeds per lb. The problem is if ccs tank pressure is below 10psi it wont feed out of the ccs boxes and if its above 12 psi is stops up in the little seed boxes. We are running precision metering units. The seed salesman says to double up on the talc and raise tank pressure to 20psi. I agree with the talc but not the pressure, have done that before didn"t work. all other seed works just fine at about11 psi. Just wonder if you had any ideas. We are almost through planting have been over close to 7000 acres this year
