I have a good relationship with the land owner. He sold an old threshing machine tucked away in the far corner of the field to a local fellow. The buyer decided to show up with an IH 1066 loader and homemade float on a weekend when the area got hit with 110mm (4.5") of rain, and the land was already saturated. The buyer got stuck up to the rear axle, and needed the neighbour's skidder to help pull him out. The seller isn't happy; I'm furious; the seller says he'll return to fix it. If my hay equipment hits those ruts the wrong way... well I don't want to think what would happen. Is discing the only way to smooth these ruts out once the soil dries a bit? Any ideas for fixing this problem are welcome. thanks, Jay
