Fun to watch but the price compared to money received makes it almost impossible to participate with out sponsors or deep pockets .I still liked it when all the local farmers came to the fair for yearly bragging rights that came with winning your local pull which probably paid about $100& a trophy.$100,000 will not build a competitive puller as one motor alone [some have 5 or more]can cost that.Our sprint car motor was $37K to try and win $3000.Hard to put a price tag on fun but being broke isn't much fun either.
