I think that you might be correct about me. I'm pretty much up on the Michigan border. I don't make it down there anymore, not since a kid in Bremen. Plymouth is a whole lot bigger than it was when I was a kid. I just happened on it taking 30 out of Joliet headed home when the interstate was torn up a couple few years ago. I took 30 over to 19, then up to the Michigan border. The place I'm thinking about popped up out of nowhere, had a lot of nice old iron, I did the U-Turn when I saw the Oliver. About as close as I ever get down that way is Myers Implement on Rt 19 in southern Elkhart County.
