Lots of folks price them at $250.00-300.00 a set. Very few if any of those people sell their weights. The actual selling price of a pair (two weights) would be less than $200 retail. Price them at $150 on the classified ads of this site and I bet you'll get them gone.
Taking them to the scrap yard is up to you but makes no sense. A Deere weight across the scales would bring around $15.00

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
