For it's day,the Hesston PT10 was a decent mower/conditioner. Had a next door neighbor who had the very first haybine around here. This was before the Hesstons had a dealer around here,but they said they tried out everything available at the time,bought a New Holland because when they tried out all of them,the New Holland was the only one that didn't spit out a big wad of hay when they first started in at the end of the swath after turning around on the end. It left a smooth swath right from the start.
As far as square balers,even the hard core Deere guys usually ran New Holland balers.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
