Was out the other evening, between rain storms, putting in the last of my corn silage. Maybe had an acre or so left, and the moniter started to scream. So what had happened was the pump quit, the shaft is woren bad, and the pto coupler is sliping. The parts guy at CaseIH told me no parts are available. And he could get me a new pump, $3800. I told him not to put a rush on that order, maybe he could send a e-mail around to other dealrs, or wreckers first, and see what might be out there. So he said he would do that, very good parts man, and will try to help out by sourcing used parts when new are not available. Don't have any other ideas myself, so I am throwing it out there.... Anyone have one of these planters, and any experience with this problem. Or should I just start to look now, for a new corn planter for next year? Bruce
