I've had great performance from the Pertronix 40611 coil as it is an expoy solid unit and hence is vibration-free. It is a hot 40,000 volt coil so I gap my spark plugs at .035 instead of the manual's recommended .025 and this is on a 12v neg ground system with a 10-SI alternator.
