Thanks to everyone for the info. And most the clubs around here do say stock block but h and 350 blocks are so similar... I will chance it at those events I think. I really hate that the rules are written that way. Like you said if my block wasn't junk I could punch it out and have the same thing and be legal. I just attended a local pull and a gentlemen with a so called stock C swept 3500 4000 stock and improved classes. He was competitive with the Oliver 77s turning high Rpm. Don't know what his secret is but obviously getting away with something. I just have a beautiful restored H with a junk block, and enjoy pulling so why not compete.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
