We had a CM240 8 foot cut and ran it for several years. Apart from new blades that mower cost us 0 in maintenance, it cut like a dream through any crop no matter how thick and tangled it was behind an MF 168 which didn"t even know it was pulling it, even in 1st high, high multipower. A really good tool. One field we had was 60 acres and I could easily cut it with it in 2 days and 1 morning. Later we bought a Lely Moco ( Another good machine)but We kept the Vicon for pasture topping until 1996 when we sold up and I seem to remember even then we got a good price for it. I am not sure about parts over there across the pond, the blades were identical to those on the Lely, in fact I seem to think they even had the same part number. Vicon is now part of The Kverneland group.
