Those LOOK like row crop brackets. They could be off an wide frame tractor( JD 4630,JD 4640, JD 4840, JD 4650, JD 4850, etc.) and then they would be too narrow for your tractor. If they are from a narrow frame row crop tractor( JD 4430,JD 4040, etc.) they would bolt right on. You would need the two side mounts, the front plate that bolts in the weight bracket holes, then there is a short cross member that bolts between the two side frames after you have them on the tractor.
You gave us a little more info but to be 100% sure then we need just a little more. IF they do not know what it came off of then have them measure how wide the brackets are from the frame out to the mounting pin. I can figure out if they are narrow frame from that dimension.
