Yup the Perkins should run cool. I have 5 of them and have only been able to get one to overheat, and that was bushhogging 7' reed/canary grass with the 8 footer. You know you are working them when you use two tanks of fuel in a day! As for blowing out the radiator, I have a blowgun with an 18" piece of brakeline brazed onto the end. It works great for getting around the fan blades and getting the tough areas blown out.
