JD, the later tractors DO have lettering underneath all the gauges that is seemingly silkscreened on the dash, and also a large "John Deere" plastic emblem as well. Over time this lettering gets worn. I know there used to be a gentleman in Green Magazine that restored these later dashes. I can't remember where or who he was. Perhaps someone here will know. Mike
