My brother and I use to ride along with our dad on his 1969 Gleaner "E" combine with no cab. Yes it was miserable but the joy and reward was just riding together and sharing the misery of the heat and dust. Dad always said the bean dust was the worst but I would have to say the corn dust on a still day is the worst. When my brother and I were old enough to operate the combine by ourselves they thrill of it was great but the dust and heat seam to be worse since dad got to take the loads to the elevator and left us behind in the fields. But I would never trade any of these memories or experiences for anything now.

I hope everyone has a good week this week. Take Care.
