When I had the S-10 pickup I ran out of gas five times that I can remember, and the gas gauge worked just fine. The gauge was right in front of me but do you think I'd look at it? About the third time it happened I was walking home and someone stopped to give me a lift. I told him thanks but if I have to walk I might remember to look at the gauge more often. It happened a couple of more times after that. The last time it happened I was about a half mile from Sioux Rapids. It was downhill into town so I coasted into town and right up to the pump at Caseys. Jim
