We sold some 450A IH planters with check heads in early 60's. The four row was a little more difficult to get a good cross especially toward the end of the rows. You wanted power steering on the tractor when cultivating also. I cultivated a lot of corn with the H and a two row, cross ways, second time through. My dad never had a sprayer on the farm.
