Even with 4.10's it'll still be a gutless pig. My dad bought one brand new in 91. Hauling the boat use to speed down hill and be in 3rd or 2nd by the time you got up the next one. It had a Mazda 5 in it. I had a 94 with a non powerstroke 7.3 turbo with 4.10's and a zf trans you could tell 1st was lowernot just the diesel having more torque. That old truck would move a house but didn't have a ton of top end but still a nice truck.
