The overall tractor is a good solid tractor. They are HEAVY so if you have wet fields you will find out how to pull it out. LOL The only draw back to them is the Hercules 478 diesel. It is a fairly good motor but when you go to overhaul it the parts are SKY HIGH!!!!. Some of the parts are available only through Agco. I overhauled one 2-3 years ago. The parts alone where over 9K.
They also do not have a very fast road gear. If you move a lot on the road you will notice this right off the bat. The rest of the drive line is just the same design Oliver/White used for years. Three speed Hydraul shift with a six speed transmission behind it. Same double H pattern that Oliver used for years.
The cab was not very large. So a passenger had better be real friendly. The AC systems where not the greatest cooling when brand new. On R134 they are worse. They barely have enough cooling capacity on real hot days. Visibility was good out of the cab.
Red cab interior means later model. The market on them is in the $10-15K Depending on condition. It takes a real sharp one to bring $15. I do mean sharp looking.
