JD Seller,why do you keep spreading that lie about that 478 being expensive to overhaul? It's getting under my skin. I've told you until I'm blue in the face that it's the 585 in the 2-150 that's expensive and hard to get parts for. Look it up yourself. A complete kit for those from A&I is about $2800. If you don't need all of the parts in the kit,you can put in pistons,sleeves,rod and main bearings with parts right from Agco for less than $2000.
That said Rich,they're a darned good old tractor. Whites first totally new design after they put their name on the Oliver/Moline tractors. The 2-135 is the same tractor,just tuned down a little and available with a 540 PTO. That's the only drawback with the 2-155. 1000 PTO only.
If the price is right,that tractor will run forever with darned few problems.
