Yep it's true, Son picked peaches off the tree and it was sweet even our German Shepherd enjoyed 1/2 of it.Garden pictures shows the growth of the veggies.Horseradish plants, sweet potato plants, (russet Burbank) will be a bumper crop.Corn is going to make up,all of it,zucchini plants are big and already producing.
About ready for some fried green tomatoes.I like them fried in butter and jammed between two pieces of bread,(called a jam samwich).lol.
Muskmelon, watermelon, pickles are finally coming along, after the ground hog knocked down the fence and ate the leaves off of them.Fence back up,no more ground hog problem. Our black walnut tree is doing well too, along with apple trees which have apples on them, two years in a row, unusual for us.Apple tree is a Harelson,or so says the local orchard manager I talked to in person. Had a bumper crop of broccoli, radishes, green onions, peppers and all the rest.
100 degrees yesterday and today, and in the 90's last week, going to water after the sun goes down.Definitely need a couple of days of nice gentle rain, with no heavy storms.Just hoping, Regards, LOU
PS: looks like there will be more peaches where this comes from.
